Accepting these terms

By using Auras, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies to the iOS app. If these terms conflict with that agreement about your license to the app, Apple's agreement controls.

Who can use Auras

You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these terms for you. Research contribution is not available to anyone under 18.

Your account

Provide accurate information, use your own sign-in credentials, and keep access to your account secure. You are responsible for activity through your account. Tell us promptly at team@auras.so if you believe your account has been compromised.

Reflection, not professional advice

Auras is a self-reflection and entertainment product. Colors, traits, prompts, matches, and other insights are generated from your answers and activity. They are not medical, mental health, diagnostic, therapeutic, legal, or financial advice, and should not be used as a substitute for a qualified professional.

Subscriptions and free trials

Auras may offer monthly or yearly auto-renewable subscriptions and promotional trials. The price, billing period, trial length, and included features shown in the app and App Store when you confirm a purchase are the terms of that offer. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. A free trial automatically converts to the selected paid subscription unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

Your subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple may charge your account for renewal within 24 hours before that period ends. You can manage or cancel in your Apple Account subscription settings. Refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple's policies. Use Restore Purchases in Auras to restore an eligible purchase.

Deleting Auras or deleting your Auras account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel the subscription separately in your Apple Account settings.

Referrals and promotions

Referral rewards and promotions may have additional eligibility rules shown in the app. We may withhold or reverse a reward obtained through duplicate accounts, automation, deception, or other abuse. We may change or end a promotion as permitted by law without removing rewards already validly earned.

Your content and community conduct

You keep ownership of content you create. When you choose to post or share content through Auras, you give us a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate and improve the service.

Do not use Auras to harass, threaten, impersonate, exploit, deceive, spam, violate another person's privacy or intellectual property rights, or share illegal or harmful content. We may remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect people, comply with law, or enforce these terms. Reporting and blocking tools may be available for community features.

Our service and intellectual property

Auras, its visual identity, software, designs, text, and other materials are owned by Auras or its licensors and protected by law. We give you a personal, limited, nontransferable, revocable license to use the service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, sell, reverse engineer, disrupt, scrape, or misuse the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Changes and availability

Auras will evolve. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we do not promise that every feature will always be available or error-free. If we make a material change to these terms, we will post the updated terms and revise the effective date. Continued use after the change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

Ending use

You may stop using Auras or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a serious or repeated violation of these terms, a legal requirement, security risk, or conduct that harms Auras or others. Provisions that logically continue after termination, including ownership, disclaimers, and limits of liability, will remain in effect.

Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Auras is provided as available and without warranties not expressly stated here. Auras and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or opportunities arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where Auras is organized, without regard to conflict of law rules, except where consumer law in your place of residence requires otherwise.
